In 2018, shortly after moving to Cheung Chau, I had the privilege of meeting Tina Barrat, a vegan chef I deeply admire. Every dish she creates is nothing short of a work of art. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of crossing paths with her at various events. In April this year, at the Flavours of Europe event hosted by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, we met again. On that occasion, I was introduced to Lester and Milly, the founders of Yuedi, a serene oasis at 198 Tai Nan Street in Sham Shui Po, offering a tranquil space in the bustling city for people to savor food mindfully.
My first conversation with Lester left a strong impression. I was truly touched by his dedication to connecting passionate food artisans in Hong Kong and providing Yuedi as a platform for small-scale producers like myself to engage with our customers. I’m incredibly grateful for their support in offering a collection point for my clients to pick up my handcrafted Cheung chau sourdough giving them an additional convenient location
